4 Months in Retrospect: Developing New Habits

I can’t believe we’re already in the fifth month of 2016! I wish time could slow down a bit. At the beginning of this year, I promised myself to keep track of my life progress in a journal. Ever since I moved back to Indonesia, I kinda fell off track. I lost my focus and I was so scared I would never achieve my goals. At one point I knew this kind of mindset would not help me at all. Gym Diary: Cardio, HIIT, Abs

Hi friendssss!

I finally get around to writing a fitness post. So here I present you, my first Gym Diary!

Today I did normal (steady state) cardio, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), and abs workout. While cardio is important, I don’t believe in long steady-state cardio session (eg. hours of treadmill sesh). By far a combo of normal cardio and HIIT works effectively for me. Not only did I improve my endurance, I also improved my overall strength and got results quicker.

Power Smoothie Recipe: Avocado Chocolate Protein Smoothie!


As the title suggests, today I will be sharing a smoothie recipe! And it’s not just an ordinary smoothie, it’s a Power Smoothie! I call it power smoothie because it gives me a boost of energy. This smoothie is very versatile, you can drink it anytime you like. For me, it’s my go-to smoothie when I want a quick breakfast or when I feel hungry during the day. It also serves as a great pre and post-workout drink. When you drink this as a pre-workout, allow at least 30 minutes for your body to digest.

Bali Vacay 3: Travel and Packing Tips

Hi guys!

This post is long overdue. I got distracted and it resulted in three off-topic posts. But wait no further because I’m back with the last Bali Vacay post (finally)! Check out my previous Bali Vacay posts if you haven’t done so (links provided at the end of this post).

I’ve done general travel tips on my first Bali Vacay post and I figured it’s best to have a post dedicated solely to tips.  Traveling is fun but there’s a lot to prepare before you reach your dream destination. As for Bali, while it’s a wonderful place, it’s insanely hot. I don’t do well in hot weather and it shows on my skin and hair. While I tried to keep everything simple – from outfits to makeup – it took a bit of an extra effort to look decent there.

You don’t believe me? Just imagine this: oily hair and face, excessive sweat with chances of body odours, sticky skin, tan lines, sunburns, and the list goes on. Now you tell me if that’s not annoying. Honestly, who doesn’t wanna look good whilst on vacation?

This is why I’m doing this post.  Even if you’re not planning on going somewhere tropical, I’m sure you’ll find these tips helpful.

Recipe Alert: Iced Jasmine Tea Lemonade
