Hey peeps! I hope you’re all doing great! Things are well on my end – I’m currently enjoying a cup of hot coffee and some Jazz music. Can’t complain about life right now 😀
I don’t know if you notice but I haven’t posted any workout or health-related posts in a while. I took some “time off” from writing health posts because I’ve been sick since last August. I wrote about it briefly in this post. Don’t worry, I am now healthy and am back in my normal crazy self! XD
I finally get around to writing a fitness post. So here I present you, my first Gym Diary!
Today I did normal (steady state) cardio, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), and abs workout. While cardio is important, I don’t believe in long steady-state cardio session (eg. hours of treadmill sesh). By far a combo of normal cardio and HIIT works effectively for me. Not only did I improve my endurance, I also improved my overall strength and got results quicker.
As the title suggests, today I will be sharing a smoothie recipe! And it’s not just an ordinary smoothie, it’s a Power Smoothie! I call it power smoothie because it gives me a boost of energy. This smoothie is very versatile, you can drink it anytime you like. For me, it’s my go-to smoothie when I want a quick breakfast or when I feel hungry during the day. It also serves as a great pre and post-workout drink. When you drink this as a pre-workout, allow at least 30 minutes for your body to digest.
I’m not a huge tea drinker but lately I have been chugging teas (namely iced teas) like nobody’s business. Not sure why the sudden crave – Jakarta’s hot weather could be part of the reasons. Anyways, today I was in the mood of creating new cold drink and I came up with this Iced Jasmine Tea Lemonade recipe! It’s super simple and I’m sure you already have most ingredients stocked in your pantry and fridge.
